Ashley’s Senior Photos

I am so fortunate to have Ashley and her family in my life.  This family is the most sincere, loveable and good family I know.  So I was very excited when Ashley asked me to do her senior photos this year.  We decided to split it up into two sessions, so this is just the first one.  Ashley I hope you love your pictures and have a great senior year.  You are such a beautiful girl, inside & out! 

Jolissa & Dancer

Jolissa is graduating high school in just a few short weeks.  We had originally planned on doing her senior session back in the fall, but missed out due to weather.  I’m so glad we got together this spring day and managed to have beautiful weather to shoot these photos in.  Her horse Dancer wanted to munch on all that green grass every chance he got.  Jolissa I hope you love your photos!

 

Her boyfriend Garrett joined us for a few photos together towards the end.  They are such a cute couple.

Little Rockstars!

I had so much fun coming up with this shoot and finally seeing it come to life.  From the small details of the kids tattoos and hair to their clothes, it was all perfect.  Let me know what you think of my lil’ rockers. 

Wild Turkeys

I have been stalking this specific group of wild turkeys near my house for the past couple weeks trying to get pictures of them. When they first showed up I noticed there was a white one in the bunch. At first glance I thought it was an albino. Now after finally getting up close to them I’m not so sure she’s technically an albino. Her color has changed from a creamy white to a rusty, reddish-brown color. It’s definitely a rare color that I’ve never seen before. If you know anything about turkeys, let me know if I have a million dollar rare bird on my hands…

Olson Wedding

Katie and Nevin got married at Laurelwood Golf Course in Eugene.  The fog lifted just as the bride and I arrived from the salon.  It stayed cold outside, but turned into a beautiful day for a wedding.  This was my first time photographing a wedding.  My brother was in town from Seattle so he came and helped me out with the photos.  Thanks Chris!  It was a fun wedding and I hope the bride and groom love their pictures.  Leave me some comments and tell me what you think of my first wedding.

    

Getting Ready

So I was invited to Utopia Salon with the bride and her girls to capture them getting ready for Kaetrin and Nevin’s wedding.  The talented Stacey did each of their hair dos and Katie’s makeup.  Here’s are few pictures from the girls getting pampered before the wedding ceremony.

Kaetrin & Nevin’s Engagement Session

I was so excited when Kaetrin contacted me to do her wedding photos.  We planned an engagement session right away in order to catch the good weather.  These two are so much in love and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding this weekend.  Here are a few from the E-session.  

    

3 Models + 3 Photographers =Lots of FUN!

Just yesterday my fellow photographer friends (Holli True & Justine Ray) and I set out to have a day of shooting just for fun.  We had originally thought it was going to rain so we brought our umbrellas prepared for a “rain shoot”.  But as it turned out we didn’t even have to use them.  We had three gorgeous young ladies to model for us.  Thanks girls for putting up with the wind and cold.  I hope you like all the pictures.  I am so excited to see what each of us captured and how different they will all be.  Here are just a few of my favorite shots.

 

Amy & Bailey and Michelle & Maxwell

A couple weekends ago Amy and Michelle met me out at Elijah Bristow to do a fall photo shoot with their horses.  We had beautiful weather for it.  Fall is my favorite season and we have just a short window to take advantage of all the color before the rain sets in.   

Crater Lake

My family and I ventured out to Crater Lake last weekend.  It was a perfect day there.  The weather was mild and the sun came out in spurts.  I don’ t remember the last time I visited there.  I must have been about 5, so it was all new to me.  The water was so blue and pretty.  I was so happy I was able to capture one of the little chipmunks on camera.  Enjoy!
